LINKING CRITERIA FOR
PARTNER SITE SELECTION
Please refer to
Google Webmaster's Guidelines
- Google page rank no less
than 4 and greater on the home page, and a Google page rank no less than 3 and
greater on the page where your link will be listed. Most Partner
sites average a Google PR between 4 and 7 on the home page and a PR between 3
and 5 on the links page. Please note that PR is dynamic and is subject to change without warning or
cause.
- We seek relevant, not competing
sites for your potential link partners. This includes sites that are
related to your site's content or common market audience.
- Partner sites are required
to have a direct link from their home page to their links page or directory.
- Navigation to your listing will be no more than two clicks from the home page.
- The navigation link on the
home page will be hard coded and not a drop down menu or java script that cannot
be indexed by search engines.
- The partner site's link's
page will not interfere with Search Engine indexing. No dynamic pages...(URLs
with ?, &, = characters),
no jump or redirected links, and no framed sites will be accepted. Code is
routinely checked for "no follow" tags.
- The page where your link
will be posted will not contain excessive outgoing links. We always
strive to locate partner sites with a minimal number of out going links per link
page. Google defines a reasonable amount of links
per page as fewer than 100. Google

- No Free For All (FFA)
sites, sites considered Link Farms or other linking programs involved in
centralized link databases are considered.
- Sites using linking
software programs that can be misconstrued as spam or attempts to mislead search
engines are not considered.
- Ineligible partner sites include Link Partners, Link Leads, Links To You,
Free version of Zeus, (Pro version of Zeus is acceptable), and Links
Manager when links are placed on the Links Manager domain or URL. (Links
Manager is acceptable when used as a management tool on a site's own domain).
- No sites hosted on free
servers are considered.
- Sites must list their
links pages on their own domain. Sites offering 3-way links are
acceptable.
- Sites with excessive
pop-up ads are not considered. They are annoying and considered a form of spam.

Sites
requesting a reciprocal link to a page that redirects to other pages are not
considered. The reciprocal link requested from our clients must point to a
legitimate page.
- Sites with
doorway pages are not considered unless there is a direct link present pointed
to the site's link's page.

You are e-mailed a list of recommended web sites for your review and approval prior to any implementation to secure reciprocating
web site links. This step is to ensure your satisfaction with potential
link partner sites. If you prefer to skip this step, please inform us
of your wishes.

Upon your approval of the link sites, you are provided with the linking
information for each site. We ask that you post your approved links with descriptions
on your links page. The majority of web sites today require that their
link be in place and active before they will accept a reciprocal link request.
|
|
|
|
|
AboundingLinks.com offers an optional "Link's Page Generation"
service for an additional fee. We will send you, alphabetized HTML generated
hyper links complete with description, or prepare an updated links page
identical to your own published links page. We offer a basic page where
links are listed in alphabetical order, or if you prefer, your page will be
completed in a categorized directory form. You will be able to upload the new page
directly to your server, or cut and paste the appropriate HTML code onto your existing links page
using a HTML editor, such as Windows Notepad, Microsoft Front Page, or
Dreamweaver etc. Rates include ongoing and/or multiple updates as
necessary to complete your order. This
information will otherwise be sent to you in simple text format on your In-Depth
Links Report generated on an Excel spreadsheet. If your system does
not support Excel files, please let us know and we can send your report on a compatible
file at no extra charge.

Upon your approval of the potential partner sites, your account manager will
then initiate your reciprocal link requests, or complete link
application forms as appropriate on each web site. Form completion is
becoming a main stay on the internet and required on many web sites in order to apply for
reciprocal links. All follow up communications necessary to firmly
establish your reciprocal links are carried through.

Once a mutual agreement to exchange links between web sites has been
obtained, and the established links are reported, we verify the link's presence
and activity.
